* WOW! What a week for the Amiga... Escom is selling Amiga Technologies!
To who? Why to VIScorp. They were already licensing the Amiga chips
to VIScorp and now they just plan on giving them the whole thing
with a $40US million price tag. Nice little profit for Escom.
Point your web browser to http://www.vistv.com/ for the full
press release. PS: Read the letter at the bottom.
* Phase5 is missing. No one seems to be able to get in contact
with them. Myself as well as several distributors have all been
leaving voice mail messages and sending faxes for the last month
with no reply. As soon as P5 products are available, it will be
  on one of these updates.
* 040 and 060 cards for the 2000 are available from GVP-M as well as
040 cards for the 1200. Look below for prices.
* I have mice! Real ones! No no no, the computer ones.. Eklipse mice!
  Get them while they last!
* The technical web site keeps expanding. Your ideas and contributions
  are greatly appreciated!
* I have a HUGE list of cables and connectors. Many of them are Amiga
specific. If you would like this list, either hit my web page, or
just ask me to email it to you. * Custom cables are available! *
* Many people have been asking about a few of the new Amiga Tech
packages that are coming out, such as the Amiga Surfer Kit and
  the new machine Walker.
These are not available yet. The Surfer package you may as well get
AmiTCP, Voodoo, Grapevine, AmFTP, etc.. all off of an Aminet site
and install it as opposed to waiting.
* SC ZIPs chips are here and all going through testing.
* iOemga ZIP drives are now in stock at my distributor. Look under
  Hard-Drives for pricing.

What I have been telling people is not to worry. We are all
Amiga lovers here. Unlike ESCOM or even Commodore, VIScorp
does not have a single IBM PC person in the development group.
We are all solid Amigans from the very beginning. Personally
speaking, I don't plan on killing the Amiga. In fact, I'm
hoping to build one killer Amiga!

PS: Please feel free to post or forward this anywhere and
everywhere, as I am getting swamped with the same email
question from so many dedicated Amigans. Keep the faith!
      This is for the better!
