One of the most exciting
features of the new 3D modeling, raytracing and animation
engine CINEMA 4D is its incredible speed both in
modeling and in raytracing.
CINEMA 4D is optimized for 32 bit power technology.
This power gives you a rendering tool that enables you to
do something you always wanted - real time modeling of
a shaded model. Extensive scenes with more than
100.000 faces can be handled with ease even on an average
Power Macintosh or PC.
The powerful speed and image quality of CINEMA 4D sets a
new standard for render engines, until now found only on
expensive workstations with expensive software. CINEMA 4D
gives you optimized anti-aliasing with oversampling up
to 64 times and several render qualities; from
scanline with transparency and reflectivity up to real
raytracing. Due to its adaptive technology CINEMA 4D
allows you to render even the most complex images in a
matter of seconds or minutes, rather then hours.
CINEMA 4D is 4 - 25 times faster than other
current programs on the Macintosh or PC. This advantage
in speed increases more and more by a scene's size.
CINEMA 4D has an integrated powerful editor for the
creation of lens flares, lens reflections, light glows,
fog and a lot of more visual effects.
The animation part of CINEMA 4D includes features never
seen before in a program in this price range. Inverse
kinematics, skeletal animation, hierarchic
animation, object morphing, animation
preview in real time and the possibility of
integrating QuickTime movies as a texture gives
you the real render workstation feeling.
CINEMA 4D allows you to configure its user interface
yourself. Thus you get an intuitive and individual
interface with parallel active managers, multi-threading
(i.e. for background rendering) - all conforming to the
style guide.
CINEMA 4D reads and writes the following formats: TIFF,
Targa, PICT/BMP, IFF, JPEG, QuickTime movie/AVI, QuickDraw
3D and 3D-DXF. Further it imports Adobe
Illustrator paths and 2D-DXF and allows QuickTime
VR panorama rendering.
On top of this the package includes hundreds of objects,
scenes, animations, textures and other useful tools.
CINEMA 4D is a German development. The English version is
available at the price of 1.498,- DM.
