ATARI VCS (2600) EMULATOR

This emulator allows you to run all the old Atari VCS games on your Amiga. Sound is now implememted even though it quite basic.
From the V0.6 update V2600 has a new option for running the screen in 3 different modes and the extra custom screen update makes the emulator run a bit faster and clears up some screen glitches. Adventure does not suffer from vertical lines on it anymore and is more playable.
The new v0.8 has a GUI which makes the use of this emulator alot more easier.
This emulator is worth a download and I can't wait for any more updates that come along.

COLECOVISION EMULATOR

ColEm Amiga This is a very early release of this emulator, But it looks promising. It has a very similar GUI as the fMSX emulator and is very easy to use. Both graphics and sound are emulated well in this emulator and if you use the turbo option on a 68030 @50MHZ the games run a little too fast.
I look forward to any updates as this currently only runs a few games and games can only be played from the keyboard.

GAME GEAR / MASTER SYSTEM EMULATOR

MasterGear This emulator allows you to play both Matsr System and Game Gear games on your Amiga. The latest version has new screen drivers and is about twice as fast as the last release.
The use of the program has been greatly enhanced with the inclusion of a very easy to use GUI, and this makes the setting up and loading very easy. Speed is still very slow, but the author is converting routines to asm and so speed increases will be greater in future releases.
The emulation can not be faulted and displays the graphics perfectly. Sound is not implemented yet.

AmiMasterGear

This is a preview of a Master System / Game Gear emulator that was programmed in one week, by the same author as AmiMSX2 and AmiGameBoy. As with the GameBoy emulator it is 100% machine code and on a 68030 @50MHZ the speed of emulation is very good and even Sonic 2 is quite playable.
As this is a preview there are a few problems with the sprites and some screen handling. But even so the games are still playable. This version even has some sound implemented, which is a plus over the other emulators.
As with the AmiGameBoy emulator this has a very user friendly interface and all types of control are implemented. This emulator looks very promising and looks like it will be very hard to beat the performance of this emulator. If you want a decent Master System emulator then you will not go far wrong with this. So get hold of a copy now!

This is the last update as the author is not supporting the Amiga anymore. I just wish some coder could continue this brilliant Master System emulator, as it would be a shame to loose such a promising emulator.

This is a Preview version of this new NES emulator and so far it looks very promising. It does not currently run many games that successfully, but it is FAST.
The GUI is the same as all the other AMI-emulators and is very easy to use and gives 4 options for controlling the games.
The latest version now supports sound, even though it is not complete it is quite good. Also it will not run many games as it only supports mappers 0 & 2.

This is a good NES emulator, the sprites are better emulated than CollNESs. It also runs at a good speed on a 68030 @50MHZ.
Sound is partially supported in this version.
A/NES is now Shareware. There are currently no limitations in the normal version, but there will be some in later versions.

There is now support for three types of controller, Joystick, CD�� pad or keyboard. This makes playing the games alot better.
Sound has also been improved in some games, which also adds to the enjoyment of playing the games. This emulator just gets better and better with every release.
There are limitations in the unreg copy. There is no sound and also you are limited to 10 minutes of gameplay. If you want a decent NES emulator, then you can't go far wrong with this.

The latest version of this NES emulator is a major improvemnet, as the main engine of the emulator is now in 100% Asm. This means things move along alot more quickly now, making gameplay alot more enjoyable.
Games can only be played from keyboard and there is no sound implemented in the current version.
The author has now added a neat little GUI, which means you can select different options, such as frameskip and the screen mode to use. This emulator is worth keeping an eye on as it is improving all the time.
