It is a tutorial series of programs designed to teach you all about how to make the most of your machine. Beginners will find that it provides an excellent learning environment in which to learn about the BASIC language. Use is not just limited to beginning programmers, however. Later sections provide valuable insight into such subjects as machine language, graphics, and sprites. It is an entirely different language of programming for your Commodore computer. Originally created in Denmark, COMAL has a number of advantages over BASIC. It is a structured language (like PASCAL) but yet still retains many of the BASIC syntax commands. It is said to run about 60 times faster than BASIC and includes commands that make it much easier to unlock your C-64's hi-res graphic and sprite abilities. This disk contains the COMAL language as well as a number of examples and complete documentation.
