Digita Organiser r2 for Windows
95/AMIGA
Last updated: Wednesday 25th September 1996
What is Organiser?
Organiser is a Personal Information Manager (PIM).
A PIM is a program that helps you organise your life, just like a real-world
Diary.
Digita Organiser is different from most in that
it looks and works just like a FiloFax®, complete with pages and 'tabbed'
sections.
There are five sections to Organiser: Calendar,
Diary, Tasks, Address Book and Supplements.

Overview
The FiloFax interface metaphor was adopted by
Digita because extensive research and Usability testing highlighted that
this was, by far, the easiest interface to learn and use.
Close co-operation with the University of Wales,
Swansea has ensured that Digita Organiser was developed with the user in
mind. It is simpler and more elegant than the competition with only the
features included that the majority of customers actually want.
Organiser also conforms very closely to Windows
95 Interface Guidelines with extensive context sensitive help on dialogs,
icons, menus and objects and the use of pop-up menus throughout the program
for common commands.
Digita has always placed high regard on the user
interface of its products and has spent over 10 years on the Amiga and
PC platforms producing products that are consistently regarded as very
easy to use. We have focused this experience and knowledge in the production
of Organiser and have concentrated on making the product easier to use
than any of the competition.
