NEWS Flyin' High is finished! NEWS
I have just beta-tested Flyin' High and
I have to admit that the game is GREAT !
The game comes with 20 tracks with different
themes and difficulty: City, Jungle, Forrest
and Snow. A track-editor and more tracks will
be availeble later. The tracks have up- and
downhills, tunnels, obsticles, Turbo-bonus,
rockets, money, and great scenary.
After each track you can buy faster engine,
turbo-boost, better tiers, rockets etc..

Watch out for FLYIN' HIGH at a
SOFTWARE-STORE NEAR YOU!

About the game

Here it is what you all have been waiting for:
A completely texturemapped 3D-racing game
for the Amiga!

Forget those boring "flat" 3D-racing games.
Flyin' High allow you to drive hills, tunnels,
ski-jumps and a lot more.

Flyin' High is provided by P.U.R.E.-Design

Release information about Flyin' High
The code for Flyin' High is now completed.
Now PURE-design is fine-tuning the game to make
the playability best possible.

The game will be released in the beginning of July!

One sad thing is that the 2-Player-Option via Null-Modem-cable
was dropped
. However a new multiplayer-mode for playing this game
on one machine is introduced
. Now maximum 4 Players can play
simultanious by using +2-Joystick-adapter in the parallel-port.
More players will of course demand more power from your computer.
A 2-player game on a 68030 50MHz will give a reasonable framerate.
Playing with 4 players on a 68060 is really impressive.

A special Construction Kit might be released after a while too!

Flyin' High will be distributed by ISLONA.

System-requirements:
Amiga, OS3.0, MC68020, AA-Chipset, 4MB Fastram,
Harddisk. Fun starts at MC68030 running with 30MHz.
Note that this game has gamepad support. One of the
buttons can be used to accelerate, one to break and
one to shoot other cars. (The best way of controlling
the car is with gamepad). To go back to main-menu during driving hold
ESC-key for about 1 second. Note that Flyin' High is in continous
development.

Note that I don't work for P.U.R.E.-Design, but I am only
interested in their work.
