1. Important Note

Please read this README file and all the supplied documentation 
BEFORE you continue the installation.


2. Installation Instructions
=================================================================
NOTE:  This driver should automatically begin installation when 
it is executed.  If it does not, the default extraction path is:
C:\Diamond\Update  .  In this directory you will find a program 
called SETUP.EXE.  This is the installation utility.


Manual Installation via .inf:

Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.

Start the "Display" applet program. 

Select the 'Settings' page, push the 'Advanced' button. Click on 
the 'Adapter' tab, push the 'Properties' button, clock on the 
'Driver' tab, and click on 'Update Driver'.

Push the "Have Disk" button and press "OK".

Specify the path to the new drivers' .inf file and press the 
      <ENTER> key:
      Example 1: Insert the drivers disk in the A: floppy drive,
                 and enter A:\.
      Example 2: Type in the name of the directory where you 
                 copied the drivers, either on your local hard 
                 drive or on a network shared drive.
      Example 3: If you're not sure exactly where the drivers 
                 are, choose the "Browse..." button and find them.

The "Select Device" dialog box will appear. Select the adapter 
that corresponds to the one you installed in your machine and 
click OK.

Windows will copy the display drivers to the proper 
directories on your system.

Continue choosing Close until asked to restart your machine from 
the "Systems Settings Change" dialog box.

After the system has restarted, you can go back into the Display
applet and select alternate screen resolutions, color depths and 
related features.


3. Known Issues

This driver resolves a Direct3D memory leak.

This driver improves OpenGL performance.

ICT Gamma scheme resets to default when color depth is changed.


4. Known Limitations 
=================================================================
Palletized textures are not supported.

This driver does not support DirectX 6.0 and as such will not work
with versions of Windows 2000 prior to Release Candidate 3.
