Log on as an user with administrator privilege. 2. If you connect the MVR-D2000 after you install Windows2000, the board will be detected by plug & play. 3. Found New Hardware Wizard will start. Select "Display a list of the known drivers for this device..." and click [Next]. 4. In the [Hardware type], select "Sound, video and game controllers" and click [Next]. 5. In the [Select a device driver], click [Have Disk]. 6. Insert MVR-D2000 DISK1 to the floppy disk drive. In the [Install from disk] window, type A:\Win2K.Wdm 7. Select "MVR-D2000 Kernel Mode Driver for Windows 2000. Click [Next]. 8. Click [Next]. 10. "Digital Signature Not Found" dialog will show during setup. Click [Yes]. 11. Click [Finish]. Reboot Windows (Manual setup) 1. Log on as an user with administrator privilege. 2. Right-click [My Computer] and click [manage] 3. Click [Device Manager] 4. From [Other devices], click one of the [Multimedia Controller] 5. In the [Driver] tab, click [Update Driver] 6. The Upgrade device driver wizard will open. Follow the on-screen instructions. The drivers will be found in A:\Win2K.Wdm. 7. "Digital Signature Not Found" dialog will show during setup. Click [Yes]. 8. Reboot Windows * If you can not select [Yes] in the Digital Signature Not Found dialog, please follow the below steps: 1. Right-click [My Computer] and click [Properties] 2. In the [Hardware] tab, click [Driver Signing]. 3. In the [File Signature Verification] box, select [Warn], and click [OK]. (3)Installing the NT driver (Plug and Play setup) 1. Log on as an user with administrator privilege. 2. If you connect the MVR-D2000 after you install Windows2000, the board will be detected by plug & play. 3. Found New Hardware Wizard will start. Select "Display a list of the known drivers for this device..." and click [Next]. 4. In the [Hardware type], select "Sound, video and game controllers" and click [Next]. 5. Install the WDM driver to Windows 2000. 2. Run MvrProp.exe 3. Select [Power Management] tab. 4. Select one of the below options. To change to another option, you have to reboot windows. (a) Windows 2000 (default) Operates as the power policy owner for Windows2000 Device Driver Kit. (b) Windows 98 WDM Operates as the power policy owner for Windows98 Device Driver Kit. (c) Disable Disable power management. 5. If the shutdown/start/standby does not work properly, select (b) or (c).
