Purpose of the program
----------------------
  TrackerV3 is an Advanced File System Explorer. It comes with a Windows
  Explorer-like interface but has a far broader scope: you get much more
  information and you get it all on the fly, plus variously enhanced
  functionality and ease of use, extended file find, reporting features,
  instant preview of image, audio, and video files, and a general file
  viewer for ASCII and binary files.


Installation
------------
  Extract Trkv360.zip to some temporary directory and run Install.exe.
  The following files are installed to the directory you selected/created
  during the install procedure:

    TrackerV3.exe .... Application
    TrackerV3.ini .... Configuration file (no overwrite if existing)
    TrackerV3.hlp .... Help File
    TrackerV3.cnt .... Help Contents File
    TrackerV3.url .... Link to www.trackerv3.com
    License.txt   .... Trackerv3 License Agreement
    Readme.txt    .... Readme file (this file)
    Uninstall.exe .... Uninstall program
 
  A program group "TrackerV3" will be created under "Programs" in your
  Start menu, containing four icons.
 
  The total size of all installed files will be about 1.33 MB.
  No further files are added anywhere to your system, and nothing 
  will be put into the registry but uninstall information.
 
  To uninstall the program click the "Uninstall" icon in the
  program group created during installation.


Dependencies
------------
  * VB5 runtime files
    Trkv360.zip does NOT contain the VB5 runtime files needed to run TrackerV3.
    This is to keep download times short, and because they are present on
    almost every computer.
    If you're not sure whether you got those files, it's easy to find out:
    if you can start TrackerV3.exe you got them, if not you gotta get them.
  
    ONLY IF THE PROGRAM DOES NOT START:
      The VB5 runtime files needed can be found at this URL:

      Download vb500a.zip (1MB, VB5 Runtime Modules. Self-installing).
  
  * GdiPlus.dll
    From ver 3.30 onwards TrackerV3 needs GdiPlus.dll (GDI+) to be installed. 
    GdiPlus.dll is installed with the .net framework and included with Windows XP.

    ONLY IF THE PROGRAM DOES NOT START:
      If GdiPlus.dll is not present on your system, it is available here:

      Installation instructions: run the self-extracting executable file 
      gdiplus_dnld.exe, which you have downloaded from the above site. When 
      prompted for an unzip folder, click the "Browse..." button and browse 
      to the directory of TrackerV3.exe (probably C:\Program 
      Files\TrackerV3\), then click the "Unzip" button and you are done. (Do 
      not copy GdiPlus.dll into the system directory.) 

How to Upgrade
--------------
  Follow the installation instructions above. This will overwrite your
  old files. Your old TrackerV3.ini file will not be overwritten
  since it contains your registration code.

  You have the choice between the home license or the professional license. Both 
  of these licenses provide you with all features, without any restrictions, nags,
  or time limits.
  Home license: for non-commercial use only (free of charge)
  Professional license: commercial use (€ 19.95/license)

------------
  The unregistered version may be freely distributed in unmodified form.
