[ First of all, I must say that this [scene only exists for the AT , there is [absolutely nothing, for the old lame XT [system. For the ignorant guys, an AT is [a computer based on a 80286,386 or 486, [from Intel. So the scene exists, but it [is not a big one... At the beginning, PC were on earth only for enterprises, and not for games only a few CGA and EGA shits, were done by software companies but that was very poor there was no protection and it was not worth copying... But suddenly with the VGA graphics cards, and the Sound systems, (Like the Adlib or Soundblaster by Example...) it became possible to make cool games. The first real great PC games were from the company SIERRA ON LINE , with great VGA games like KING QUEST V.That was one of the first game to use Soundblaster tune with great VGA pictures. ] After a period of reflection, some ]AMIGA crew created a PC SECTION and the ]scene could start ! Do you know that at the beginning, 'ANGEL FACE' was a supplier for the famous TRSI ? He was so hated on the ST scene that it was the only solution for him... But now he is no longer in TRSI, in fact I don't know what he became... ] Here are now the most famous teams ]on the PC Cracking Scene: * FAIRLIGHT (FLT)-1st they were only on AMIGA, but now, they are also on PC and SUPER FAMICOM. [* THE DREAM TEAM (TDT)-A long time ago, [they were on AMIGA but now they're only [on PC. They're very fast. * TRISTAR & RED SECTOR INCORPORATED They were one of the first to open a PC Section Now they're active on the three computers (Mainly AMIGA,PC and a bit ST computers). [* RAZOR 1911 -Also on AMIGA but they're [now mainly on PC. It's with TDT,FLT and [TRSI one of the leading crews on PC... * THE HUMBLE GUYS (THG)-Quite asleep at the moment they were very productive at the beginning of the PC scene. They are only on PC. [* INC -Most of them are from US.They're [also only on PC. * QUARTEX (QTX)-They have nothing to do with the fake team created by Ruthlame, and, I don't know from where their guys are coming... Mainly USA I think...They still release some games on AMIGA , but not as much as when OLIVER was leader. [* ICS -Lately somebody called THE PARIS [ANGEL released a few crack for them but [their intro was really shit. The Threat [was lately looking for a PC-DEBUGGER on [the french minitel, but we have no news [from him... He's already lame enough on [ST to move for the PC ! * ONE MAN GANG (OMG)-They are not, very productive, they only release sometimes a few games. [* PC VISION -A brand new PC crew with 4 [members at the moment. One of them, was [a very famous hacker in the most famous [ST cracking team. The 3 others are also [well know on ST. To contact them simply [ask to any MAD'VISION members for their [contact address... ] The demo scene on PC is not really ]developped. Only 1 really good demo has ]been released on PC for the moment it's ]the UNREAL demo, by the FUTURE CREW. It ]as good as the AMIGA, with really great ]3D effects and many other things , with ]fantastics originals soundtracks played ]in stereo if U have a Soundblaster Pro. ]A crew called ULTRAFORCE, has also done ]a nice 3D demo but except that stuff we ]can't say demos are numerous ! [ Finally, I must say that the Cracking [scene will certainly not grow too much, [in the future months , simply because a [few groups are totally ruling the scene [in USA and EUROPE. But we can hope real [developpement of the demo scene , which [is quite weak at the present time. But [to code on Pc is not a easy thing, [especialy if you want your work to be [compatible on all machine.
