What follows is a public service attempt at creating some sort of index 
of what is in this directory.  All of the information is compiled from 
the various *.txt files.  I hope that you find it helpful.  One day, I 
would like to create an index file for every directory in /pub/doom.  
However, no one human being can has *THAT* much free time on their hands, 
so if you would be interested in helping me with this, mail me at

checklev      displays various stats about a DOOM level
dcc12         menu-driven front end for Doom. Supports modem, PWADS, etc.
dfe300        Doom front end.  *MANY* features. Get the txt file for this one
dfe310        An improved(?) version of dfe300.
dfe311p       A patch for dfe310.  Apparently required to run it.
dmlite        "Try DOOM-Lite and fear the Dark no more!" removes dark areas?
dmlnch11      Doom launcher for OS2.
dmpsswb1      Compiles a map of a level in Postscript.
dmswap13      Swaps items in some/all doom levels, like barrels for imps, etc
doom_ps2      "Doom PostScript map generator. V1.2"
doomcc        Changes the colors of other players.  Hot pink marines?
doomed12      "Simply the BEST DOOM saved game editor" Time will tell.
doomenu8      Self installing Doom front end.  Many features. Get .txt file
doomglov      "With this driver you can use the Mattel PowerGlove with Doom"
doomhpgl      Map printer that outputs in HPGL format.
doomj         "in essence, Do you wish you had a bigger backpack?" more ammo?
doomsavr      doom screensaver featuring all of the monsters.
ds-108        Doom shell.  Freeware.  Includes screensaver.
dscm106b      Beta version of a serial connection manager.  No "GUI-crap".
dwm130c       Doom wad manager v1.30c.
emu387        FPU emulator for use with BSP v1.1x
fhum          Replaces old human death sequences with electrocutions.
gmouse        "This mouse driver solved my PS/2 mouse problems"
gwiz23a       Game cheating utility.  Apparently supports other games.
knight        "replace the pinkies with a black knight" graphix patch
movelev2      Reassigns mission levels.
play          A flic player(?) for the alien.zip file
rdoom165      Doom randomizer.
reg14         A home-brewed Registered Doom v1.4 patch, apparently.
wadgod        Launches WADs and LMPs from PKZIP format, saving space on HD.
wadload2      4DOS batchfile for running Doom.
wifsp001      An attempt at creating a universal WAD spec?
wm            A Doom wad manager/launcher.  Freeware.
wm150         Yet another Doom wad manager/launcher.  Unrelated to prev. file
zambony       3D Level browser. Walk/Fly around levels.
