Note: The Communications Parameters must be set for 8 data bits and no parity for 8-bit mode to be fully operational. If 7-Bit is selected, the characters displayed are limited to the standard 128 ASCII character codes. If 8-Bit is selected, the characters displayed can include the entire 256-character set of the personal computer including graphics characters.
