    Documentation tool

    CHYDALE made, unique tools for writing technical documentation or
    programming reference. TechWriter does all this automatically, adapts
    to the way in which the developer works, analysing and documenting
    xBase applications or libraries in a format which is deliverable to
    most government and private sector clients.

    Features:

    -   supports all xBase languages. The object-oriented extensions
        provided with SuperClass II are also supported.
    -   Directly supports documentation standards via customizable
        translation rules
    -   Automatically generated Expert Help, Norton Guides or Tom Rettig
        Help files
    -   Maintains a database of all systems. Only changed modules are
        rescanned, minimizing re-documentation time.
    -   documents .NDX, .NTX, .DBF, .DBT, .PRG and .C and .ASM files
        (as they relate to the Clipper Extend system).
    -   Generated function call trees and cross references automatically.
    -   Interfaces with any external editor, enabling source code to be
        edited directly from TechWriter. Macros are provided for Brief,
        Qedit, Multiedit and Sage Professional Editor
    -   Tech writer understands Microsoft Library Manager compatible
        script files, free format link scripts (Blinker, Plink86 and
        .RTLink) and positional linking (Microsoft LINK, Tlink and
        Warplink) syntaxes. (Pseudo linking is performed during
        the analysing process to determine the libraries for external
        symbol references).
    -   Tech writer has a user friendly, menu driven interface and a 
        command line batch mode for unattended documentation generation.

    Tech writer has been written by John Kaster of Interface Technologies
    Inc. and is published in Europe by Chydale Software Ltd. All future
    versions will be jointly developed by Interface Technologies and
    Chydale Software Ltd.
