Title: COMPSURF.EXE FIX

There is a potentially SEVERE problem with the COMPSURF currently being
shipped with the following products:

        Advanced NetWare 286 V2.0a
        SFT Netware 286 Level I V2.0a
COMP286.ARC (That was available on NetWire prior to
                     December 5, 1986)

Firmware revision E on the Disk Coprocessor has an interface problem with
the COMPSURF program supplied in the above three products. If this Disk
Coprocessor is to be used with the above mentioned products, the COMPSURF
supplied after December 8, 1986 MUST be used. Failure to do this could
result in DATA LOSS of adjacent disks.

The fixed version of COMPSURF has a file creation date of December 8, 1986
and displays a version number of "AN286 2.00G" when executed. It also will
have a ECO #500-000547-001 under the part number (#127-000XXX-001) listed
directly on the front label. This new COMPSURF program is available on
NetWire or from your reseller.
