[About The Guide]
Bindery Property List Warning
Occurs on: 68, 86, and 286.
Meaning: This error occurs only on boot up of the file server and
indicates that the operating system has detected possible
corruption in the Property List in the bindery files. This is
only a warning of possible contamination and is not a fatal
error.
Cause: The Bindery files might be corrupted if the server was halted
suddenly by a hardware or power failure or by bringing down the
network without the DOWN command.
Solution: After the file server has completed booting, attempt to
access the problems with the bindery. If the bindery has
been badly damaged, use the BINDFIX utility to repair it. If
necessary, restore the bindery files from a backup.
