This maintenance release provides the following improvements and corrections: - Simultaneous playback of two .AVI files has been improved. - Playback of loosely interleaved or noninterleaved files with NetWare(R) Video has been improved. - The compression algorithm has been changed to fully meet the official Interactive Multimedia Association's adaptive- differential-pulse-code-modulation (ADPCM) format specifications. - Performance of video playback has been improved, which corrects a problem that causes shaky playback. - The general protection (GP) fault problem has been corrected. This problem occurs when you click embedded Video 1.1 for Windows media objects in object linking and embedding (OLE) 2.0 clients. - A slight memory leak that occurs with embedded objects has been corrected. Installing the Run-Time Edition of Video 1.1a for Windows --------------------------------------------------------- Do the following: 1. Insert the enclosed WV1019 disk in the appropriate floppy disk drive. 2. In Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu and type :\setup where is the floppy disk drive containing the WV1019 disk. Press ENTER. The Setup program will install the run-time edition of Video 1.1a for Windows.
