Installing Internet Neighborhood

Entering your Serial Number/Registration Code

    1. Double-click on the Internet Neighborhood icon on your desktop.
    2. Once Internet Neighborhood launches, select Help from the main menu.
    3. Under the Help menu, select About Internet Neighborhood.
    4. When the Internet Neighborhood About Box appears, click on the Unlock button.
    5. Enter your Internet Neighborhood Serial Number into the dialog box and click OK.
    6. If you have entered your serial number correctly, you will receive a Congratulations! message. If you entered it incorrectly, you will receive an Invalid Serial Number message.

Once you have entered the correct serial number, Internet Neighborhood will remember it and you should not need to enter it again.

NOTE: Keep your Internet Neighborhood Serial Number in a safe place, since you will need it for technical support and in the event that you need to reinstall the program.

Uninstalling Internet Neighborhood

    1. Restart Windows95/NT. This will ensure that Internet Neighborhood has been removed from memory. If Internet Neighborhood is resident in memory during the un-install process, the process will fail.
    2. Once Windows has restarted, click Start then Settings followed by Control Panel.
    3. In the Control Panel program group, double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon.
    4. Find the entry labeled Internet Neighborhood and double-click it.
    5. Choose Yes to uninstall Internet Neighborhood from your machine.
    6. Once Internet Neighborhood has been uninstalled, you may need to restart Windows95/NT again so that the icon will be removed from your desktop.
If Internet Neighborhood does not uninstall, you can download the Internet Neighborhood Icon Remover which will remove IN from the desktop (and the system registry).
