Arachne TCP/IP Setup

If you have MODEM & PPP account, try to use one of three directly supported PPP dialers. Requires at least 550 kB of DOS memory before running Arachne.

Use this option if there is packet driver installed on your PC. Typical for LAN & ETHERNET cards. The Windows TCP/IP API (WINSOCK.DLL) cannot be used.

Arachne will work with ANY EXISTING DIALER for DOS (SLIP or PPP) you are already using, if it provides packet driver compatible interface.

Arachne can be used with NO CONNECTION to Internet - on standalone PC as HTML, text and picture viewer and on LAN as Intranet client.
