World's Favorite Cat Breeds(TM)

This document provides information relating to the install and usage 
of World's Favorite Cat Breeds(TM).

1.  Installation

1.1 Within Windows, choose RUN from the file menu.  Type "D:\setup", where
"D" is the letter of your CD-ROM drive, then select OK.

Win95: Click the Start button, then click the Run button.  In the command
box, type "D:\Setup", where "D" is the letter of your CD-ROM drive, then 
click OK, and follow directions.

1.2 No files will be copied to your hard drive.  All files will reside on
the CD-ROM.  Setup will create a Centaur Multimedia group and the icons 
for the program: "World's Favorite Cat Breeds", "Readme.txt", and "Video for 
Windows Setup".

2.  Running the program

2.1 To run the program simply double click the icon "World's Favorite
Cat Breeds". You must have a Multimedia PC, (sound card and CD-ROM player-
double speed), to utilize the full capabilities of the program. You must
have runtime Video for Windows 1.1 and INDEO Video(tm) 3.2 
installed to see the video portion of the program. 


3. Video for Windows 1.1 - INDEO Video(tm) 3.2 - Runtime versions

3.1 World's Favorite Cat Breeds needs the runtime versions of Microsoft's  
Video for Windows 1.1 and Intel's INDEO Video(tm) 3.2. To install these 
simply click on the Video for Windows setup icon. If you are not sure as 
to whether or not you already have it installed, clicking the icon will 
only update files (if needed) and will not harm any files or drivers that 
are currently in use.  

Note: This setup program is supplied by Intel, and is a modified version
of the setup utility Microsoft provides with their runtime package.

4. Display  

4.1 World's Favorite Cat Breeds is designed to run full screen under 640 x
480 screen resolution with 65 thousand colors.  If you are running under a 
different resolution or color mode, (such as 800 x 600 and 256 color), the 
program will still work fine, but will not be run in full screen mode, and
the colors may not be as full and rich as possible.  To run in full screen
mode change your resolution to 640 x 480.  If you want to change resolution:
See your windows manual, or use the utility program that came with your 
video card.
