═══ 2. Installation ═══

 HelpNet! Installation.  If you run into any problems or have any questions,

═══ 2.1. Name ═══

Enter the Name of the Client for this computer. 


═══ 2.2. INI Directory ═══

Enter the Directory for the HelpNet.INI file.  This should be a LOCAL Drive and 
directory as this INI file holds the Clients' settings such as Colors and the 
way in which the HelpNet! Applications operates. 


═══ 2.3. Executable Dir ═══

Set this field to the directory in which you wish the executable files for 
HelpNet! to be installed.  This may be on a Network drive or a Local Drive for 
faster access. 


═══ 2.4. Database Dir ═══

Set this field to the directory in which you wish the Database to reside.  This 
may be on a Network Drive for multi-user access or on the local drive for 
faster access. 


═══ 2.5. Create Database - Yes ═══

This option only shows up when the HNINST.EXE file is run with the /FIRST 
parameter.  This will create the database the HelpNet! Uses.  CAUTION:  This 
will OVERWRITE any database already defined in the defined directory! 


═══ 2.6. Edit Config.Sys ═══

This checkbox when checked will write a new config.sys file.  the ONLY 
parameter added is: SET HELPNET=Cini file. 


═══ 2.7. Create Icons ═══

This checkbox when checked will create the Icons that are required to run the 
HelpNet! system. 


═══ 2.8. Re-Initialize HelpNet.INI ═══

This checkbox when checked will create and initialize the HelpNet.INI file on 
the Local system in the directory specified. 


═══ 2.9. Company ═══

Enter your Company Name here. 


═══ 2.10. Serial # ═══

Enter the Serial Number found on Diskette Number 2.  For Beta Versions, the 
Serial Nu,ber is READ ONLY. 


═══ 2.11. Copy Files ═══

This checkbox when checked will copy the executables and all related files to 
the directory specified in the EXE Dir entry field.
