Version 1.11:
    Added CRC16 for use as a replacement fro the user specified ID.
    Changed system so it doesn't place blank lines to fill up page.
        (So it works better if you don't have a 80x25 screen)
    Added short waiting period before first message can be acknowledged
        and flush keyboard buffer.  This prevents a user who types ahead
        from losing messages.

Upgrade notes:
    Delete all old <user>.nws files.
    Delete all items in the news data files.
    Install new version of program.
