  Patch  OS/2 1.31.1.0

  This patch fixes problems with multiple drive partitions, particulary when
  more than 4 partitions are assigned to a dual processor system.  Also fixes
  OS/2 heap problems as well.

  Symptoms:  Rename function doesn't work properly, also an NMI may occur.

             All users using  IBM extensions  2.1 should use this fix.


  Replacement files - HPFS386.IFS, HPFSDPC.386, and HPFSDPS.386


  To install:

    1. Copy the existing files in the MPEXT directory to a subdirectory or
       diskette.

    2. Copy the replacement files to the MPEXT directory.

    3. Shut the system down and bring back up.

    4. Verify fix.
