SAMPLE WARP DESKTOPS BY JOE BEV Because I've noticed many posts in the OS/2 newsgroups from people saying they wish OS/2 Warp looked more like Windows 95 or the Mac, I uploaded to Hobbes incoming several variations on my Warp desktop. The fact... while with Windows 95 and the Mac you have very little choice as to how you layout your desktop, with OS/2 you have unlimited choices, including making your desktop look like Windows 95 (with the use of Filebar on the bottom of your screen) or the Mac (with the use of Filebar on the top of your screen)... So I've uploaded a zip file called DESKTOPS.ZIP, containing: JOEDESK2.BMP (my OS/2 desktop using a combo of choices) JOEMAC.BMP (my OS/2 desktop made to look like the Mac) JOEWIN95.BMP (my OS/2 desktop made to look like Windows 95) WARP.BMP (my real OS/2 desktop as I like it best) WILGLOB1.BMP (my personally drawn OS/2 desktop background of my Willoughby and the Professor characters, which you can feel free to use!) You can view the above bitmaps using any graphics program, including PMView and Windows Paintbrush. They are too large to load in the OS/2 Icon Editor however. Shareware and Freeware used in making these desktops were: Filebar2.05, NPS WPS Enhancer 1.81, FM/2Taskbar1.01, TaskSwitcher, and NewPad. Enjoy! ************************************************************** The Joe Bev "Voice Guy" Web Page: http://www.otterspace.com/~cybrgphx/joebev The "Willoughby" Cartoon Web Page: http://www.otterspace.com/~cybrgphx/joebev/willnprof.html **************************************************************
