4.3.6 Ticker Tape 2 Part

The Ticker Tape 2 Part shows you a ticker tape text scrolling in its frame just like the Ticker Tape 1 Part. This part handler subclasses from Ticker Tape 1; it inherits all of Ticker Tape 1 Part's features. This handler is improved so that you can update the ticker tape text. This is an example of how new features can be built upon a part handler by subclassing from the parent part handler.

When a large text file is selected to replace the ticker tape text, the text is loaded to the storage unit. When the text is displayed, a fixed amount of text is retrieved from the storage unit. This allows the amount of memory required to display the text to be small, regardless of how large the original text file is.
