3.1.1 Hardware Requirements for OpenDoc for OS/2 for Users

   The following hardware configuration is recommended for OpenDoc for OS/2 
   Version 1.0: 

   °   IBM or IBM-compatible personal computer with 486 (or higher) 
       processor. 

   °   Minimum of 16 MB memory for running OpenDoc for OS/2.  We recommend 
       you have more than 16 MB for performance reasons. 

   °   Minimum of 16 MB disk space to install OpenDoc for OS/2. 

   °   A sound card, such as Sound Blaster, supported with an OS/2 device 
       driver (necessary if you are planning to install OpenDoc Multimedia 
       for OS/2 only).
