═══ 1. CSETUP ═══ CSETUP is the configuration program for CASE:PM. Using CSETUP, you can set where various files are stored, change the default editor to use from within CASE:PM, and define up to 15 tools callable from within CASE:PM. ═══ 2. File ═══ The file action item presents a list of pulldown items as follows: o Save Changes saves any changes you have made. This includes changing your CONFIG.SYS if the directory for CASE:PM has changed, as well as any parameters CASE:PM uses. o Exit CSETUP exits the CSETUP application. ═══ 3. Save Changes ═══ This menu item saves any changes you have made. The changes are stored in the file CASE.INI, which is read when you start CASE:PM and any time you access the CASE:PM action bar item Build. If you changed the directory where CASEPM.EXE is stored (the first menu item under the Directory action bar item in CSETUP), CSETUP will optionally modify your CONFIG.SYS file, updating your path and the CASEPM environment variable. ═══ 4. Exit CSETUP ═══ Select this menu item to exit CSETUP. ═══ 5. Directory ═══ Selecting this menu item allows you to change the directories that CASE:PM searches to find: o The knowledge base (.KNB file) o Dialog files (.DLG files) o Icon files (.ICO files) ═══ 6. Path to the knowledge base file ═══ Select this menu item to change where CASE:PM will find the knowledge base (.KNB) file used to generate code. ═══ 7. Path to dialog box files ═══ Select this menu item to change where CASE:PM will find the dialog (.DLG) files used when prototyping an application. ═══ 8. Compiler ═══ Select this menu item to change the default compiler executed when you select Make from the CASE:PM Build action bar item. You may change from the IBM C/2 default compiler to Microsoft C version 5.x or 6.0. ═══ 10. Change Default Compiler ═══ Select this menu item to change the default compiler executed when you select Make from the CASE:PM Build action bar item. ═══ 11. Tools ═══ Up to 15 different programs, or tools, can be pre-defined and called from within CASE:PM. When CASE:PM initially starts, the executable for each tool is examined, and its icon (or a default icon if none is found) is displayed on the client area. To access a given tool, double-click on the appropriate icon. If the tool has an accelerator key associated with it, pressing that key will also start the tool. ═══ 14. Tools 1 through 5 ═══ Select this menu item to access the first 5 tools you wish to define. ═══ 15. Tools 6 through 10 ═══ Select this menu item to access the second set of 5 tools you wish to define. Please be sure to fill out the tool definitions in the first tools dialog (menu item "Tools 1 through 5") before selecting this menu item. ═══ 16. Tools 11 through 15 ═══ Select this menu item to access the third set of 5 tools you wish to define. Please be sure to fill out the tool definitions in the first two tools dialogs (menu items "Tools 1 through 5" and "Tools 6 through 10") before selecting this menu item. ═══ 17. Path to CASE:PM ═══ Enter the drive and directory in which the CASE:PM executable files CASEPM.EXE and CSETUP.EXE are stored. If the drive and directory are changed, when you exit CSETUP you will be prompted to let CSETUP modify your OS/2 CONFIG.SYS file. If you choose to do so, your PATH will be updated to reflect the new drive and directory, as will your CASEPM environment variable. Select "OK" to save changes made within this dialog and dismiss it, or "Cancel" to dismiss this dialog without saving any changes made. ═══ 18. If you wish to define a keyboard accelerator, include a tilde before the letter you wish to designate. In the right side edit box, enter the name of the executable file associated with your tool. If the tool cannot be found along your current PATH, either modify your current path to include the location where the tool is stored, or specify the complete path of the tools' location. There are also two parameters that may be appended to the executable name of a tool: o /NW Run the application from a full-screen text window. o /P When the tool starts, prompt the user for command line parameters.
