This ZIP archive contains a set of screen shots (SCR_1-8.BMP) and a textual description of the Browser (INTRO.TXT). The description is not a marketing brochure (size) or a tutorial (structure). The main part of INTRO.TXT is simply a script for a presentation that should give an overview of the programming tasks supported by the Browser. It is not complete. Things like the Document Editor / Merger and the OutlineBrowser are missing. This script will be updated according to our demonstration experiences. The file formats are really not optimal and most probably will be changed in the future. The current formats should at least ensure that everybody is able to print and display the files without the need for special programs. The INTRO.TXT file was generated with EPM. It holds a lot of style information and therefore should be displayed and printed with EPM (my EPM has serious problems with PostScript v52_2 but works fine with LaserJet 1.3.389). If the style information should be inappropriate for your display, use the SystemFont (with linewrap) for the text and a monospaced font for the block graphic. Most probably I will use a wordprocessor or *.INF format for the next version of this file. The SCR_x.BMP files are simple 4-bit PM Bitmaps. There should be a lot of programs to display this stuff. I printed the pictures with GALLERIA. The contrast of the inactive title color is a bit weak but otherwise this works fine. I restricted myself to 1024x768 resolution so that the screen shots fit on a 8514, but you really should see this on 1280x1024. Big difference. Maybe I will make a large monitor version (that shows more windows) too. Please let me know your comments Peter
