- As with any graphic-intensive application,
ThumbsPlus will run best with lots of memory. Large images may also require
additional memory.
- The total disk space required depends on the
number of thumbnails you make.

We changed the eligibility date for free single-user upgrades from 1
November to 1 October. Since we released 4.00 on 18 February,
this provides a 4-1/2 month window of free upgrades, which is certainly the
limit of what we can afford to give away! So please try not to whine and moan
about the upgrade price if you purchased before 1 October. The price is only
$25 to upgrade to 4 anyway. |
| New Users |
- The new price for ThumbsPlus is $79.95.

| Existing Single-user Licensees |
- If you purchased ThumbsPlus on or after
1 October 1998, you will receive the upgrade to 4.00 at no
charge.
- For users who purchased or upgraded to version
3 prior to 1 October 1998, the price to upgrade to version 4
will be $25.00 + shipping and handling ($20.00 for electronic delivery).

- Current site license users (who have purchased,
upgraded, or paid the maintenance fee within the year before the release date)
will receive the upgrade at no charge.
- Lapsed site license users (whose license is

>There are some limitations in the shareware (public beta) that are not
present in the registered version::
- Image watermarking cannot be applied in batch mode
- Multiple TWAIN acquire.
- The following file types are supported only in the registered version:
- PFB, Adobe Type 1 Fonts
- DXF, AutoCAD Exchange Format
- FLI/FLC, Animation formats
- FPX, FlashPix format
- DCS, Kodak Professional Cameral formats
- Zip files may be viewed as folders only in the registered version.
- You can only save two named schemes each for catalogs, web wizard pages,
and contact sheets.
- You can only save two named batch sets.
- Database conversion, import and export are available only in the registered
version.
Additionally, some features will disable after the trial period expires;
however, the database will remain intact and usable for when you purchase the
product.
