You must build the UNIX, 16-bit, and 32-bit IEAK packages from a computer running Internet Explorer 5 and any Windows 32-bit operating system (except Windows NT 3.51).

For hardware and software requirements for specific versions of Internet Explorer, see the readme files for those versions.

Windows NT 4.0 computers must also be running Service Pack 3 (or higher) On Windows NT 4.0, you must have administrative privileges to install and uninstall Internet Explorer. This includes having administrative privileges the first time users start their computers after installing or uninstalling Internet Explorer.
