* A NOTE TO PEOPLE WHO DOWNLOADED A BETA VERSION *
A copy of the BETA of DOOM Gore v3.0 was released,
but not officially.  The version in question had a
FILE_ID.DIZ for DOOM Gore Special Edition and only
three new graphics - the Manicubus, the Spider
Demon, and the chainsaw; the rest of the graphics
were in DOOM Gore Special Edition.  The installation,
which was still in very primitive stages, only worked
with DOOM 2 and the title screens were still Special
Edition.  I'm sorry if you downloaded this thinking
it was Special Edition.  If you downloaded it,
knowing it was a BETA, then tough shit.  The only
damage to us is the problem that the zip file name
was the same as this program and some users who
downloaded it, thinking it was Special Edition, may
never want anything to do with us again.  If you
see the BETA on a board, tell the SySop to delete
the old one and send him this version.  Thanx.
