WinGraph 2.0 README File ----------------------- Installation ============ WinGraph files come in compressed form, and they must be installed using the included Windows-hosted installation program. If you received WinGraph as an archived (.ZIP) file, unarchive it and copy all the files to a single diskette. WinGraph is designed to run under Windows 3.1 with VGA or better. You must use a mouse to select some features. To install WinGraph: 1. You will need 1.5 megabytes free hard disk space. 2. Insert the diskette (Setup Disk) in a floppy drive. 3. If not already running Microsoft Windows, start Windows. 4. From Program Manager, select Run from the File menu. 5. Type a:setup (or b:setup) and press [ENTER] WinGraph can be installed to a drive and directory of your choice. At the end of set up, a group will be created in Program Manager with three items in it. The WinGraph program icon, a WinGraph Help file icon, and a Windows Write icon that you can select to view and print the User's Manual. WinGraph History: Version 1.0 - Initial release 1/6/94. Version 1.1 - Released 4/18/94. Fixed a bug that caused the program to exit when making Legend Titles. Version 1.2 - Released 7/4/94. Fixed a bug that caused an error message and program exit when using ColorData to change color to portions of the graph. Version 1.5 - Released 10/11/94. Label text can now include any printable characters. Version 2.0 - Released 1/28/95 Added feature to save a graph and re-load it into WinGraph for modification. Added a Print Preview feature. Added the capability to print solid colors, dithered colors, or grayscale. Modified the Patterns dialog. The point value changed from the "Set Each" dialog is reflected in the Data grid. Modified the menu to reflect the addition of the Print Preview. Updated the WinGraph help file to address all changes.
