Removable Harddrives

The removable harddrive system fits into a 5¼" drive slot in the RiscPC and harddrives are available in many sizes which can simply plug in and out of the slot as required.
The drive may be locked in place to prevent unauthorized removal and for total security the drive may be removed and stored in a safe place to prevent unauthorized access to your data.
Because the removable drives are available in many sizes they are also ideal for use as backups for existing harddrives, and may be easily transported between different computers for rapid transfer of large files.
The system is available for use with both IDE and SCSI filing systems.
Even if you simply need a second harddisc for your RiscPC this removable system provides a very cost effective way of adding a second drive. An external mounting box is available which enables the system to work with older Acorn computers if fitted with a SCSI card.
