What is ANS?

ANS was established late January 1998, after an apparent need for an electronic newsletter with Acorn news, instead of expecting people to trawl through hundreds of newsgroup postings and websites to keep up to date with developments.

From the outset, ANS was welcomed by many, and by November 1998, just 10 months after being established, ANS had well over 500 members.

The ANS newsletter comes out every two weeks. Recent developments have meant that it is not only the newsletter that ANS provide, but also several added features including the ANS Filebase, a directory of RISC OS software.

Back issues of ANS can be downloaded from our archive section, in both HTML and text format. All back issues can also be searched, with our powerful search facility (online only).

The newsletter only functions with peoples help, by providing news items and updates on developments.

Subscribing can be done in two mouse clicks by following the subscribe link on the left.

ANS continues to grow, and will no doubt continue to flourish...with your help!
