================================================================ Title : CITADEL Filename : CITADEL1.WAD Author : Eric Bertel Email Address : 70402.753@compuserve.com Misc. Author Info : Obviously, I need a real job. Description : This DOOM patch WAD file is based on various pre-Columbian temple cities of Central and South America. We understand that these civilizations valued death matches as sport (much like us DoomHeads), so we felt it especially appropriate to target this design as a DEATHMATCH arena. While it is intended to be played in DEATHMATCH mode, both single players and cooperative teams can enjoy it as well. This patch, starting at E2M1, is the first in an intended series labeled CITADELS. Further levels are being tested and tweaked, time permitting (I am currently under the compounded constraint of a girlfriend and a master's thesis). CITADEL1 was designed by Eric Bertel on DEU 5.2 and checked by BSP11x. It has been very thoroughly tested on the computer network at Event Horizons, sucking up a great many hours of time. (Fortunately, the owner is a willing participant!) However, there still may be some minor bugs. Comments may be sent by E-Mail to Eric Bertel or Ken Kolbly at CompuServ 70402,753. Testing efforts were supported by Brandon, Eric, Ken, and Rick, and barely tolerated by the significant others, Katie and Terri. Enjoy! 13 October 1994. ================================================================ Episode and Level # : E2M1 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : DEU 5.2/BSP 11x Known Bugs : eliminated most of them, but if you see one let me know Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
