MHR1001B.PUD A one player vs. the computer scenario. Your starting area is small and contains minimal resources. Escape across or down the river to find more resources. Find and destroy all orc forces. Raiding a lightly guarded mine may keep your opponents from developing too much. ========================================================== Scenario design by Martin Rogers. Please send feedback to: 74532.733@compuserve.com Playtesting by Michael Mayhill: mmayhill@aol.com ========================================================== Number one in a series. It was designed to be of medium difficulty (unless you are too cautious and the blue player develops Death Knights... ;) Your comments are welcome. -MHR Revision history: mhr1001.pud -- Initial design. The scenario at this stage was much too easy because of suicide peons. Released too early because I wanted someone else to see it. mhr1001a.pud -- Suicide peons fixed by eliminated the land bridge. Minor tweaks in blue player set up. mhr1001b.pud -- Further playtesting showed some serious flaws in the computer player actions. Peons got stacked up and stuck due to insufficient space to move. Thus no development of blue forces. Seems to provide a challenge now.
