Civil War. Winter, 128x128, 1 player. By Eric Burns, eburns41@PORTLAND. CAPS.MAINE.EDU Civil War PUD for Warcraft II by Eric Burns ... Two months ago, Uther Lightbringer's party was attacked by a small group of orcs. The orcs were a lot more powerful than any ever encountered by the Alliance, and used strange and powerful spells to kill most of Lothar's men before being killed by the stalwart knights. Before it's death, the last orc cast a strange spell over Lightbringer. Lightbringer fell into a fevered coma, and did not wake for a fortnight, except for short and violent fits. Upon waking, Lightbringer said only, "I have seen the Light, and the Light is Darkness!" Lightbringer assembled what he could of the Azeroth army in two weeks, touching each footman, archer, and knight on the brow so that they too would see the light. With the dark army of Azeroth turned traitor, the Alliance's defences crumbled. Lothar has gathered his remaining Loderon forces at the Alliance's most fortified remaining stronghold: Icehelm Keep. The Alliance's loss is your gain! Doomhammer has instructed you to join with Lightbringer's forces in a seige against Icehelm Keep. Be wary, though: you have received reports that Lothar's forces may receive reinforcements from another Alliance army. ... This is a slightly difficult scenario that allows you to use both human and orcish units. Hope you enjoy it. If you have any feedback, you can email me at eburns41@portland.maine.edu. -e
