This directory contains the beta release of perl5.004_04 ported to RISC OS.

If you have a Risc PC get		perl-riscpc-1.06.zip
If you have an Archimedes get		perl-archimedes-1.06.zip

All files are zip files, compressed with zip deflation. Both contain perl binary
complete with extensions (eg SOCKET support), standard perl libraries, a
collection of RISC OS specific libraries, and basic DOCUMENTATION as text files.

The "Archimedes" archive contains a dynamicaly linked perl, whereas the "Risc
PC" archive is staticly linked. Dynamic linking is currently incompatible with
dynamic area malloc() on a Risc PC - work is in progress in UnixLib to fix this.

perldochtml	Perl documentation in HTML (generated by Unix)
