especially 'ma8', *everyone* knows its just 'm8' :-)
pah! this 'text messaging' is hardly a new phenomenon, it only exists
because of 2 issues 1) phones without keyboards are a pain to type
messages with and 2) the limit on SMS message size. even back in 1980's
with Prestel and BBS's everyone wrote in such fashion ...as 1,200 baud
modem was a pain to download bulletin messages with :-)
