I seem to remember Alan stating the number they have to sell to see a
profit. It was surprisingly low, but I can't remember the exact figure.

I am sure the existence of a variety of Amiga-like hardware will
increase total sales. There will be plenty of people who are not
exactly suited by one product. Rather than buy nothing, they have a
chance to buy one of the others. They are all different.
There may be BoXeRs available, too. A batch of six prototype boards was
recently made, which suggests that it is getting near to production.
Of course there will still be problems and holdups.
IMO the big market for this hardware is the people who once had an
Amiga, now use a PC, and can be persuaded to buy a second computer
rather than upgrading the PC next year.
If I am right, then bundled software for networking to a PC is
important.
