I have the disksplit and diskjoin pair, and I've used them for years for
splitting large files of any type into smaller chunks. No idea where they
came from, they were always there, but I'd guess an old AF or CU CD, or
AmiNet. Pretty cool programs too, and Amiga and MS-DOS versions were in the
archive.
