Well I'm glad you've posted that :) Makes me feel a whole heap better
because I've been having AmIRC (and loads of other MUI apps for that
matter) do exactly the same thing. It only seems to happen when a
window is opened and/or closed a lot, and I'm using a similar setup to
you (mine being a CSPPC/CVPPC with CGX4.2.8 running OS3.9 in
800x600x16) BTW, afaik, the BVPCC and CVPPC dont do 32bit screens -
unless you actually meant 32 cols ;) in which case ...why :)

And like you have noticed, if you move the window a crash is usually
guaranteed, but if you're quick enough in killing it, and dont opemn
anything else or move anything thats over the affected window you can
normally escape without crashing. It's a PITA and I'm now convinced
its CGX causing the problem - since I don't recall ever suffering with
it when I was running beta 5.

Unfortunately, unless VGR update the CGX driver, I think it's just
going to be something we'll have to bear with - annoying as it is
because 9 times in 10 it happens when you're downloading something and
you cant always get back to the server you were d/l from :/

Cya,
Steven.
