Subject:Internet sharing and Genesis

Is it possible to share an Internet connection across a LAN using
Genesis? I know MiamiDX is better suited to the task, but until I
shell out for that I'm stuck with the OS3.9 version of Genesis.

I was trying to follow the tutorial on the Amiga Mediator page (which
is a nice page, thanks Sam!) and I got as far as being able to ping my
Amiga from my PC and vice versa. So I know my network is working
properly.

But obviously that page concentrates on MiamiDX, so my attempts to
configure Genesis to do the same thing weren't entirely successful.
The network settings in Windows are set to use my Amiga (192.168.0.1)
as a gateway, I have DNS enabled and the correct entries in this
section, and I'm confident everything in Windows is configured
correctly. What do I need to set on the Amiga side to get this to work
(if it's possible?)

Trying to access the Internet from the PC causes the TD LED to flicker
on my modem (which is connected to my Amiga), but nothing else
happens. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong. If the answer is
"you're not using Miami" then fair enough, I'll go out and buy it.

Thanks,
Gerry
