I think that what Gary was saying - and I'm quite sure he said it very clearly
in another mail, was that the G400/G450 is old technology which is irrelevant to
what they are busy working on. He never ever hyped the G400/450 - he only might
have used them as examples of Matrox's pedigree of manufacturing and design.
Amiga are basing their "strategic partnership" with Matrox on their new chips
and designs that have not come out yet - and therefore, have not been seen by
anyone except under NDA's.
Those are the Matrox products to be concerned with, so it's pointless comparing
the G400 series with the Geforce series in this case.
But go ahead and do so anyway if it makes you feel better ;-)
