I don't bother these days. When people at work question the fact that
I still use my Amiga, I tell them yes, I used what they spent on
upgrades to pay off my mortgage. :)
Not strictly true (apart from the bit about the mortgage) but near
enough to draw a few grimaces, and it shuts them up! :-)
