Have you personally compared the two in the same PC under the same exact
conditions?

We have, the white papers can tell stories.

IF you want a quite fast card that is also more of a professional (WYSIWYG)
look, then Matrox is better. Ask anyone who stares at a computer screen for
long periods of time which card they prefer. They will say the Matrox card.

No wavering lines, no problems with getting too hot and it showing up on
your screen, no hardware acceleration issues, good solid drivers with
Matrox.
