Subject:IBrowse 2.2

Hello all,

After using AWeb for a couple of years, I decided to give IBrowse 2.2 a go and
see how things have come on.

Having downloaded the eval version from HiSofts site, and installing (using the
supplied installer), I can't get external viewers to work. I had an earlier
version of IB running some time ago, and had external viewers going on that, and
I've set this up the same, but try to view an image and - nothing.

SnoopDOS shows that IB is writing and executing a temp script stored in T:. The
size of the script file varies, but is usually only a couple of hundred bytes
max. When I read it with a text viewer there's nothing, when I read it with a HEX
viewer there's nothing.

I suspected part of the prob is a complete lack of documentation with the eval
version, so I downloaded the upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2, which it says is a
complete install. The archives are identical.

What's going on?

All the best

Steve
