Subject:which RDB program?

Hello,

I just installed a brand new 75GB IDE disk in my A4000
(IBM-DTLA 307075).Using the HDToolbox that came
with OS3.9 BB1, someythings not right. In the main window,
it says the disk is 71,5GB, but when I go ahead and install
it, it says it is 32,2GB, even if I try to read the configuration
again.Yes I am aware of drive manufactors using "normal"
k's instead of binary k's, so its in fact a bit less than 75GB.

But whats going on? is it impossible to use this disk on my A4000,
because of a buggy rdb-program?

It seems to me that every rdb-program has their own opinion
about things like drive geometry.I tried HDInst-tools.At least
the drive size seems right there, but trying to specify big partitions
there really messes up the gui.

Any suggestions?
