Subject: LAME bug

Hello,

I am using LAME Version V3.x on a PC (according to
the System Properties dialog, it is running Microsoft Windows NT
4.00.1381; the computer contains a x86 Family 5 Model 2 Stepping 12
AT/AT compatible and 64,951 KB RAM).

When I run the program as

lame -b 127957 -S myfile.wav foobar.mp3

I get the following error message:

LAME 3.03  (www.sulaco.org/mp3)
WAVE : Found WAV header. Assuming 44.1khz 16bit stereo samples
Encoding track.wav to track.mp3
Encoding as 44.1 kHz 128 kbps stereo MPEG-1 LayerIII file
using GPSYCHO: GPL'd psycho-acoustic model
Frame: [ 336/ 996]   Encoding Time 00:07/00:20  (1.30x)   ETA 00:13

** lame error: Illegal codebook encountered.
