WISR Position Paper Format

The basic template looks like this and takes 3-5 pages. Section titles appear in "quotes."

Page1

• Title
• Author Name
• Author Address, including e-mail, fax, telephone
• A one-paragraph "Abstract"
• Keyword list
• Your goals for the workshop
• Working groups that interest you.

Pages 2-4

• "Background"- 1 paragraph explaining your background in reuse
• "Position"- 2-3 pages explaining your position on a topic. This section may have several subsections; in practice, many submittors describe current research or experience.

Last Page(s)

• "Comparison"- Compare your position to those of others
• "References"- As required
• "Biography"- Standard 1 paragraph story about yourself, as it relates to your position and reuse.
