Two of the most recent initiatives on the CAMP program were concerned with early
identification of reusable software components and with tailoring and
composition of reusable components for new applications. The first initiative
was embodied in the development of a reuse support tool called ``parts
exploration'',
and the latter initiative was embodied in the development of a set
of facilities and procedures referred to as a ``meta-constructor''.
